By downloading or using Altus IDE during preview, you agree to use the software responsibly and comply with applicable law. The software is provided "as is" without warranty during preview periods.

AI services

AI features may consume usage credits or plan allowances. You are responsible for content you submit to models and for reviewing agent-proposed changes before applying them to production systems.

Acceptable use

Do not use the IDE or gateway to violate provider terms, generate unlawful content, or attempt to bypass security controls of third-party systems.

Third parties

LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, and others) have their own terms. Code-OSS and extension ecosystems are subject to their respective licenses.

Independence

Altus IDE is an independent product. It is not Microsoft Visual Studio Code, is not endorsed by Microsoft, and is not affiliated with Microsoft Corporation.
